- With its dark, lush, burgundy red color, this is a real crowd pleaser. The nose has a wonderful aroma of dark ripe cherry, vanilla, light chocolate with hints of coriander and herbs. The taste is of ripe dark cherries … cherries and more cherries. It finishes with a smooth lingering hint of vanilla. Suggested pairings are creme brulee, flan, mild cheeses and chocolate-covered dried cherries .
