Looking for an upscale wine tasting experience in a cozy, relaxing setting? Step away from the crowds and enjoy a guided wine tasting at our winery in Johnson City Texas! We have ten wines of our own. Half of our wines are made from varietals grown on Texas vines, and half are made from varietals that can't be grown in Texas just yet. However all of our wines are produced in the Texas High Plains in a small town called Brownfield which is about 45 minutes south of Lubbock Texas. This area is a windy region at a high elevation which presents a very unique terrior that yields unbelievable outcomes.

The famous 290 Wine Trail, also known as the Texas 290 Wine Road is a great place to taste some of the best wines in Texas! This 15 mile stretch is the number two wine destination in the United States, second only to California's Napa Valley! Alex Anthony Vineyards currently has a selection of nine wines to taste including Cabernet, Sauvignon, a beautiful Red Blend, Sweet Red, Texas Albarino, Moscato, Texas Sparkling Gerwurztraminer Rose, Texas Peach, Semi-Sweet Viognier, a Sparkling White Cuvee we call "Love Song" and more! Every winery between Johnson City, Stonewall and Fredericksburg TX offers a unique experience for everyone, whether you're an experienced wine consumer or just starting out! Most of the wineries in this area are very accommodating to families. In fact, here at Alex Anthony Vineyards, we definitely know there's a link between being a mom and the need for wine! Our wine tastings are free with any purchase of three bottles or more! We welcome small wine tours, shuttle buses, if the wine tour company calls us in advance just to ensure we can deliver a great experience to their customers!
