altered State Tours and tastings

For private parties, tours and tastings, please contact the distillery directly via email at info@alteredstatedistillery.com 

We do our best  to accommodate private tours and tastings whenever possible. It is best if you contact us in advance to schedule, but if you are visiting and the owner is available, he would be happy to take you on a tour of our production space. Tastings are available during open hours and can be conducted by any of our front of house staff. You are always welcome to try our spirits before purchase. Pairing menus are available to enhance your experience. Please ask our staff about current selections.

We host more live local and regional music than anyone in Erie !!!

Altered State Distillery is a strong supporter of  local and regional musicians, food trucks, breweries, artists, even animal shelters .

We host a happy hour Tuesday through Thursday  and live local and regional music every Friday and Saturday night year round.  Sunday afternoons in the summer months we host our Sunday Sessions from 1-4 complete with live music and bloody mary bar, reserving one Sunday/month for our Arts and Casks Handmade Vendor Fairs .  

Food Trucks and Pop-Ups are also a big part of what we do.  You will often find your favorites parked around back or popping-up inside our production space.  For the most up to date information on Food Trucks, check out the calendar on our dining page.

Join us Thursday, May 2nd from 7-9 pm for our last Altered State Pub Quiz of the season - six rounds of Altered State EXCLUSIVE trivia on a variety of topics, written and hosted by That Jeopardy! Guy™️ Adam Holquist.
Bring teams of up to six to compete for a chance to win Altered State gift cards and other exciting goodies.
There's no charge to play - just bring your thinking caps and your drinking pants.

Kentucky Derby Watch Party with Division Street Machine 

Saturday, May  4th 6-10 pm

Saturday, May 4, 2024 we will be hosting our 5th annual Kentucky Derby Watch Party! Yup! That's right! We will have actual sports on our TV for one single evening.
Our bartenders will be preparing Mint Juleps crafted with our B-Side Bourbon and house-made mint simple syrup along with our full menu and other Kentucky Favorites.
The Cluck Truk will be here grillin' up Kentucky Hot Browns as well as their regular menu
Come early for the races and stay late for a little Blues by The Division Street Machine who will keep the party going for us from 7-10 pm.
*Place your bets at the Casino and bring your tickets down to Altered State Distillery and party with us!
*Losing Derby tickets will be collected after the race for a drawing that will be done later in the evening!
*Wear your biggest, floppiest craziest hat and take your favorite sundress to the cleaners, because we are going all-out with a "best hat contest" too!
*Contest prizes to be determined. Follow this event for additional information!
We hope to have the music outside on the patio if the weather allows, so you might want to bring a chair!

We really love these guys! Great folks from Pittsburgh playing Grateful music. We can't wait to have them back here.
We made fast friends with Taqueria Acosta when they joined SamJAMwich up here last May. We're so happy to say they will be tagging along again, so bring your feedbags! Their food is to die for.
