Nestled in a valley in southern Butte county, Bangor is an old gold rush town named by the founders for the Lumbert brother's hometown of Bangor, Maine.
Our Terroir
The northern Sierra foothills offer a warm climate and rocky decomposed granite soil. Paired with our hillside location we can produce grapes for wines with intense character, complexity, and depth.
Bangor Ranch Estate Wines
Our vineyards grow Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sarah, and Primativo. The vineyard was replanted after the 2017 fire and are producing excellent grapes at their full potential.
Olive Oil
85 trees survived the fire and we are producing extra-virgin olive oil, available in 375 ml. bottles, and as an ingredient in our sugar scub.
