Our Wines Are . . .

high in antioxidants and bursting with flavor. DnA Vintners award winning Cranberry Wines have been a hit in local markets.  This tiny wholesale winery in west central Wisconsin produces hand crafted wines in small batches from local fruit of the "other vine".  Named as Wisconsin's official "fruit", the mighty cranberry grows abundantly in the Tomah, Warrens, Black River Falls, Wisconsin Rapids and Babcock areas of Wisconsin. We currently purchase our cranberries from Habelman Brothers Cranberries, a very large producer of fresh cranberries in west central Wisconsin. We now have twelve kinds of cranberry wine and blends.
We are a "farm to table" winery as we try to produce our wine from as much local fruit as possible. We have an acre of rhubarb and 25 pear trees on our farm. We have wonderful friends who have pear trees and have encouraged us to make pear, cherry and raspberry wine. Our wine has been on store shelves in the Wisconsin section since 2006. We also produce some dry wines and specialty wines that are only available in the Tasting Room. Come visit for a wine tasting, a glass of wine or a bottle of wine. We also have wine slushies.

About DnA Vintners

Our first bottled wines were made for gifts and to share with friends. We had so much fun and the wine was so well received, we began to expand. After bottling wine for several cranberry seasons, the DnA Vintners was officially formed. Over the years we've perfected our flavors and technique. We are happy to welcome you to our web site. You may visit our About The Wine web page to learn about the wines we currently offer. Visit our Awards web page to learn about the awards we've received. Meet Sarah Pederson, an amazing artist from Coon Valley WI. You can find her on the internet by looking for her company page which is Lucid Painting. She makes a flat wall look three dimensional - a wonderful visual for photo ops! Here's what she created on our winery building at 1229 Caledonia Street in La Crosse:

Health Benefits of Cranberry Wine

According to a recent study conducted by Dr. Rupasinghe V of Ontario Canada, fruit wines have basic health related constituents in comparison to traditional grape wines which are extremely good for ones immune system. Different wines made from different fruits have varied health benefits.

Cranberries have prominent levels of phytonutrients, and many have antioxidant activity. A research conducted on cardiovascular health depicts that, cranberries have the ability to reduce total cholesterol and LDL, or bad cholesterol, and raises blood flow. Cranberries are rich in flavonoids, hence helps in inhibiting certain kinds of cancers. Cranberries have also found to inhibit ulcer causing bacterias.

Of all fruit wines, Cranberry wine has the third highest level of antioxidants per 100 grams (9.5K ORAC) compared to red table wine which has 3.8K ORAC.
